I wanted to make a new entry about my trip to Korea but I realized that I could not finish it without being patient because it's just too damn loooong. I decided to go back and blog again since I really want to share with you guys about the products I am using and I wanted to make a favorite entry if ever I have any in the future. But if you like this let me know so that I can do it every month.
I wanted to apologize (AGAIN) for not updating this blog. It's kinda hard to maintain a blog when you have a busy schedule. My boyfriend encourages me to make another blog entry but again, the Korea blog was too long for me to finish but I will finish it soon! It's been 7 days now since July came but better late than never! So, let's get started with my beauty finds of the month!
To be honest with you, I'm really not comfortable buying the $18.91 (799php) Olay Total Effects Day Cream because I want to buy so many things at once and if I do buy the 799php one, I have to sacrifice 2-3 makeup or skin care products especially if it's a drugstore brand but I am very happy to use it and it's currently my favorite now. I'm sorry though I forgot how it cost me, but it was less than $9 (300+php) but I'm happy that I have this. It's my first time to use Olay and it gave wonderful results on reducing dark spots, evens out my skin tone and it's easy to apply makeup rather than not having it on my face so I really really like it!
This one right here is a Sophie Paris Lipstick in Velvet Nude (SLPN01). It's only $1.82 (79php). I bought this from someone in Sulit.com.ph and we met somewhere in Ayala Station in Manila. I could not find anyone who is a Sophie Dealer here in Cebu City so I have to get it from her. The lipstick length is not the original length since I have been using is a whole lot moooore than my other lipsticks. I looooove this lipstick. I have loved this lipstick ever since 2011 when I first discovered it and didn't let go of it since. The lipstick is very moisturizing to my lips and it's semi matte. So it does not really dried up my lips nor it's dewy but I love this. I'm using a different shade of lipstick (I bought 5 lipstick shades from them!) from the same company now but I will buy this product again!
I bought this out of curiosity. It was only $2.97 (129php) so I'm like, Why not? The lady from Watsons recommend me this product while observing my skin and she told me this would be a good product for me. Although this product is for sensitive to dry skin, it suited well for my dry-combination skin. It helps prepare the skin for moisturizer which I find it very very effective. It's alcohol free so for a 129php worth of toner, it's worth the money. A must have toner for me. It does not dry up my skin and it does not sting my eyes too. This is also a great eye and lip makeup remover which I tried it to myself, no wonder other makeup artist have this in their kit~
A good friend of mine introduced me to this product. When I went to work and didn't have any powder to use, I asked her if I can borrow her powder and I'll just use my powder brush that I have in my bag. I fell inlove with it...(boyfriend will read this so please don't hate me coz I love you more. hehe) I mean, when I bought it at The Face Shop for $9.20 (399php. It was on sale and the original price is $10 - 450php) and used it? It was definitely worth it! It gives me a certain matte finish that I want and I use this to set my BB cream or a meduim coverage liquid foundation. I love it. I'm using a different powder now which it may come to my June Favorite entry but repurchase this? of course!
I used this product 3 times a week to exfoliate my face. I have a MWF schedule for using this product and I must say, not bad for a drugstore exfoliating scrub. For only less than $6 (245php), it totally made some changes to my skin. I felt like I have a clear and smooth skin and it made me feel like I don't have to find a different product to exfoliate my skin like some of the brands do. It DOES remove your blackheads and whiteheads. What I do is I turn on my lamp (a white fluorescent bulb one) and I compare my face before and after infront of my mirror and I could really see the changes. Try it!
You can really see from now what are my skin care products for my skin care routine just by telling you how much I love these 3 skin care products. Basically that's what I do every night and day then use my eye cream but ofcourse in the right order. I use this first, then my toner, my eye cream then my moisturizer. This removes dirt, makeup and it gives me a nice feeling after I use it. I feel like it gives my Olay Total Effects moisturizer a little boost of "effectiveness", you know what I mean? Haha. But anyway, love this and I'm still using it now. :)
What I'm loving now for my blush is this e.l.f Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder. I'm not really a fan of bronzing powders since it may not look good on me but I love the blush that comes with it. It leaves my skin very glowy and fresh after I apply my powder. I bought this for only $5.74 (249php) so it was relatively cheap for having two products in one. This is a good everyday and natural makeup for me rather than using my very pigmented MAC Dollymix that I own but it still depends on my mood. I still use this everyday today so I love it!
I think that's it for now. Let me know if you want me to do a detailed review for the products I have here. I'm using new products for the month of May so I'm slowly playing around with the new products that I have. Will post a haul soon so OMG I'm so excited to share it with you guys. Thank you so much and talk to you soon!
