Here it is, the haul post I promised! I'm actually excited to show you guys my haul. Although it may not be too many buuuuuut I'm super happy with these purchase. I went to APM Mall the other day with my boyfriend and we did a some makeup shopping for me and him...yes, he bought a little something for himself worth 1,500php ish. I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend who shops makeup with me. He also bought his own mini makeup bag which is great! :3
I haven't really took any photos of his products but I'll talk about that some time in the future. We had a video though! While we were walking around the cosmetic counters in SM but sadly, my laptop is too slow for me to edit them so it's kinda sad. D:
Here are the things I bought. I have already used some of them so I'll just talk about them real quick. I bought these products from SM City Cebu and Chedelyn's Cosmetics Collection shop located at APM Mall (Right across SM City Cebu). This shop offer a wide variations of drugstore to high end makeup brands but mostly drugstore brands. They are 100% authentic. I have checked their product codes on my cosmetic product finder on my phone app. The owner's sister comes to LA, purchase them herself and ships them to the Philippines. Read on so that you can see the price too!
- e.l.f. Eyelid Primer - Compared to the e.l.f's Eye Primer and Line Sealer, this eye primer is more on the cream-liquid side. The other primer that I mentioned is a cream base primer while this one is on the liquid side so if you put too much, you may have a hard time priming your eyelids. I only dab in a pea size amount by 3's and spread all over the lids before eyeshadow. It's good! I tired this on with my client and I love the effect on the eyeshadow it gave me. The only thing that I noticed though is that when you apply too much, it was hard to blend the eyeshadows so less is more I think for this eyeshadow primer. This is for $3 (129php).
- e.l.f. Eyeshadow Brush - I haven't tried this yet but I heard a lot of good reviews about the application. I will try this soon! :) $3 (129php)
- e.l.f Eyeliner Brush - I would not want to consider this as an eyeliner brush just yet but I used this for concealers. It did a pretty good job although the brush is too small for me to spread the concealer. But it's okay. $3 (129php)
- e.l.f Blending Brush - I have yet to try this one. It looks promising and could blend eyeshadows well. Let's not hope I don't get decieved by the looks. Wow parang suitor lang. lol. $3 (129php)
- E.O.S. Lip Balm - The only thing I can say about this lip balm is....I LOVE IT. But compared to my Carmex Lip Balm, the Carmex is better but what I love about this product is it actually hydrates your lips and it has a very good smell compared to my Carmex one. And it feels good to apply it in my lips before any lipstick. $6 (250php)
- e.l.f. Lip Gloss in Candlelight - They gave me this lipgloss for free. I haven't opened the package yet until now but I tried the tester and I like it. I like the smell too!
- Fashion 21 Perfect Stick in Almond - This is actually an amazing local brand concealer. For a local makeup brand, it's a bit too pricey, around $4 (180php) but I bought it anyway since I love how it actually conceals my imperfections completely. Do not over use it though because it may look cakey, just damp it on your blemishes and blend it using your fingers until the redness/dark spots are invisible. If you choose a lighter/darker shade, it won't work. Always check if the concelaer matches your skin tone. Apply a little amount on your jaw, not your hands then blend. I love this product. My shade is almond.
- Revlon Photoready Powder in Light/Medium - I bought this for my clients because I didn't really have a good light foundation powder or a transluscent powder to set their makeup so I bought this instead. Most of my clients are chinita and mistisa so it's only best to buy this for them. This might be good for me if I'm not morena. So I have a different powder. $11 (500php)
- Caiquan Beauty Blender - There's a reason why beauty blender's don't come very cheap. It's $8 (350php) because it actually gives you a natural finish. When you apply BB creams or liquid foundations, your face looks natural after. Try it! This is my second beauty blender.
- Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes - I have been dreaming of getting this because this is not available in the Philippines. It's very famous in the states but I don't know. I really don't like it that much. Maybe because I didn't change the rubber on my eyelash curler that's why I it does not curl up my lashes and it affected the products capabilities but I don't know. When I applied it, it really didn't gave so much impact on me and to my lashes. I dunno. Rip off? Will try to switch my rubber on my curler see how it goes.
- 3XL Khol Pencil - This is a China brand I think and it was only for 18cents each (8php). It's very pigmented. Now I know some of you may not want to use cheap and China made beauty products but then again, if you know where to look and how to use them, you'll appreciate them. DO NOT BUY liquid foundations and their powders. Anything for the face will cause breakouts and it happened to me na so... *thumbs down*. I will be using this for my eyeshadow base and for cosplay eyebrows as well. :D
- Fashion 21 Sharpener - Thought I'd need a cosmetic sharpener so I bought it. :P $1 (50php)
And lastly, this awesome shades I got from Colon St. It only cost me $2 (100php) which is not bad!
I even wore this on my instagram photo I had last last week.
*No photos please...stop*
As for my boyfriend, I didn't really took some makeup haul photos of what he had for himself. No no, my boyfriend is not vain nor he's gay. He wanted to purchase basic makeup looks for his cosplay projects. He's into making armored costumes made out of rubber sheet material and make it look like a real metal armor so a cosplayer would understand why you he would buy cosmetics. So, I hope that ends your "omg Eun's boyfriend is gay? omg his that vain?" questions. haha.
