I have been doing a lot of xdeal and commissioned shoots since 2010 but I am not a well established makeup artist. I just love doing what I love doing best, doing makeup for most people such as models, photographers, clients, family and my friends. And now I'm starting to do a little bit of blogging from my busy lifestyle of working and studying at the same time. I love doing what I do. I love working with different talented people.
Harlene was very natural. This is her first time modeling for anyone and she did a wonderful job delivering the things we want to achieve from her!
Products Used:
- E.L.F. Eyelid Primer
- In2it Eyebrow Powder
- Etude House Brow Set in Brown (I lost my Girl Boy!! :< )
- MAC NC25 and MAC NC37 Studio Fized Liquid Foundation - To even out her skin tone since she has an uneven colored skin tone.
- **Coastal Scents Inspired Eye Palette - **It's actually not a Coastal Scent eye palette but it's something like that. It was a china made makeup product which every online shop sells nowadays. Yes, you can never underestimate them. It also had a MAC logo in it which I'm like :O. I bought them in Divisoria for 600.00. I use this to contour her nose and highlight everything that needs to be highlighted. I use a peach matte eyeshadow for that.
- Falsies
- Ever Belina Eyeliner in Black
- Naturactor Cover Face #140
- I used In2it powder to contour her face since I don't have any matte contour cosmetic.
- Nichido Lip Liner in Red
- MAC Russian Red
My dream is to be able to use a Makeup Forever HD Foundation for photoshoots but I can't seem to afford them as of now. But yeah, it's amazing how high end, drugstore and cheap local makeup can do.
A simple makeup look for Harlene. There was no contour or color combination on her eyes since I want to try something new for a change. One color only. Peach shimmer eyeshadow. Then some lashes and mascara. I applied a little amount of eyeliner on her waterline so that she won't look sleepy. And eveyrthing follows, the foundation, concealer, contour, highlight and a MAC Russian Red lipstick...so deadly and elegant at the same time! <3
I just wanna thank Mr. Dexter Maneja for the awesome shots and for his wife for shooting also. His wife had awesome shots too! I invited them to do these for me and for everyone and I'm so humbled by them. For Joyce Maw for the kick ass fashion styling. Never thought fashion could be so deadly! For Barbeth for letting us shoot in her studio omg I also love her works. I want to work with a fun shoot with her soon since we already worked together for a client. <3
